Cloud Solution Engineer

A&D Medical, a leader in connected biosensors is looking to expand its growing presence in the mobile health market segment. A&D provides blood pressure and body weight sensors for the telemedicine marketplace and is looking to grow our sensor business in the wellness management and consumer markets. In order to do this we need to add team members with strong backgrounds in mobile connectivity and data base management. Connectivity in healthcare is growing in importance as new technologies are developed and deployed. This is a challenging opportunity that will allow you to use your talents in building new and meaningful health and wellness solutions.

You will be responsible for maintenance and design updates of cloud to cloud database management across mobile platforms including the iPad, iPhone, Android, Blackberry, Windows Mobile and others.. The database solutions will focus on moving data from cloud to cloud for our blood pressure monitors and our other health monitoring sensors to mobile platforms/applications. Working closely with sales and marketing, this position will design, develop, and deliver database solutions in support of mobile applications providing solutions for our customers.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Focus on the use of data to drive health monitoring and potentially health improvement solutions.
2. Design mobile applications to connect our products effortlessly to customer products providing solutions to end users.
3. Deploy and operate cloud infrastructure and mobile application services
4. Work with customers to elicit, document, and analyze database requirements.
5. Seeks cloud to cloud opportunities for remote patient monitoring and connected health.
6. Provides support in developing our A&D telemedicine database.
7. Perform research, develop specifications, estimates, architect and perform programming to support new versions of iOS, Android, Windows Mobile, other emerging mobile technologies, and additional mobile devices and additional external hardware devices.
8. Define and promote best-practices for cloud platform programming & usage.
9. Develop database using SQL.
10. Use Amazon E2C solution, iDigi developer tool, and Axeda portal solution to design and implement cloud-to-cloud solutions.

REQUIREMENTS:
Requires BS with Information/Computer Science or a related discipline with working knowledge of MVNE (mobile virtual network enabler), Amazon E2C solution, iDigi developer tool, and Axeda portal solution. Knowledge of XML, JavaScript, HTML, and Unix Shell with experience using SOAP or REST web services. Must have an excellent understanding of Object-Oriented programming and feel comfortable with Linux development environment. Minimum 2 years of experience with database development, management, and maintenance. Experience with cloud to cloud database, and mobile application architecture, frameworks, development methodologies and UI Design. Minimum 2 years of experience as a software design engineer through all phases of the software development lifecycles.
